The Family

Born in Manzanares- Caldas, Ciro is a coffee producer who, like the phoenix, has arisen from the ashes. After his father’s coffee farm went bankrupt he struggled to support his family until he arrived in the department of Quindío looking for new horizons.

Supported by his wife and as a good fighter, he found in a government program the opportunity to start growing a small coffee plot in Cordoba, Quindío.

That small piece of land expanded and today is the Alejandría farm, a perfect example of how protecting the environment by soil conservation systems and hard work, can generate development for a family and community and create a perfect balanced coffee.
